Welcome to

Alkborough Primary School

At Alkborough Primary School, the school day starts at 8:50am and finishes at 3:30pm.
We have a Breakfast Club which starts at 8am and an After School Club from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

We provide an interesting, differentiated and challenging curriculum to develop children’s confidence and determination to achieve the highest of standards in all aspects of their work and we celebrate success and achievement at all levels.

Our small class sizes offer excellent pupil to teacher ratios and enable us to offer more personalised learning.

There are also links with North Lincolnshire Local Authority for children to come to and from school on the school bus if they live in one of the local villages near Alkborough.

We have an experienced team of teaching and non-teaching staff who work hard in partnership with our children, parents and governors. It is our aim to work together to develop lively, enquiring and imaginative learners. We acknowledge that parents play a key role in their child’s learning and we encourage positive and supportive communication to this effect.

We have a strong and committed Governing Body who play a key role in monitoring and in school development.

Our PTA (The Friends of Alkborough School) are a dedicated team of parents who organise a range of fundraising events throughout the year. Their hard work and support has funded the purchase of a range of resources that have benefited our pupils.

As a prospective parent, you may be interested in coming to have a look around our school, to see for yourself what we have to offer. Visits are welcome, please contact the school to make an appointment.
